Putin orders govt to approve robotechnics devt project by Jul 1

MOSCOW, Jan 31 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to approve a federal project to develop robotechnics, according to the decree released on Tuesday on the Kremlin’s website.

“The government of the Russian Federation must approve a federal project on the development of national robotechnics that will define, among others; legal, tax, and other terms for the progress of manufacturing and implementation of industrial robots in the Russian Federation; measures of state support of manufacturing development and implementation of industrial robots in the Russian Federation,” the document read.

The order is to be fulfilled by July 1, and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is put in charge.
